I’m going to be perfectly honest about the long division… I was a little scared. I remember hating long division in school, and I wasn’t confident about introducing it here without creating the same impression. Fortunately, our daughter’s third grade teacher gave her the basic procedure, and from there it was just practice and reinforcement at home. Having the basic division facts memorized helped a lot, so don’t skimp on those… I’ve added several new series of division facts to come about that from different directions, and hope to post some really long long division worksheets soon…
