Missing Operator Problem

Several users have requested a series of worksheets where the student is presented with a solved math problem, but they have to fill in the operator or rule that was used to get the answer. I created a series of worksheets for addition and subtraction, multiplication and division and for all four operators. These track closely to the progressive fact worksheets for multiplication, so these sheets can provide an alternative form of practice if you’re using those for math fact memorization.

You can find the new worksheet sets at the link below or with all their friends over in the ‘Worksheet Menu’ on the right side of this page.

A few worksheet fixes…

Thanks to readers for pointing out a few issues that I fixed up today. The Mixed Multiplication and Division Word Problems Worksheets were only showing multiplication problems and this has been corrected. Also, the title sections for the Ordering Numbers Worksheets were reversed, so if you looked in the section for greatest to least ordering you’d see least to greatest and vice-versa.
