Graph Paper: Engineering Graph Paper

Engineering graph paper in standard and metric scales where intervals on the graph paper are emphasized to create groupings of graph units with major lines appearing every four or five divisions depending on scale. Standard sizes 1/4 inch, 1/5 inch, 1/8 inch and 1/10 inch grids . Metric sizes 10mm, 5mm, 2.5mm and 2mm grids. Scale may diverge slightly due to differences in printers.

What do you do with Engineering Graph Paper

Many forms of engineering graph paper are printed with the grid on only one side of the paper, so that you can effectively sketch the drawings on one side of the page and then flip it over so that the grid isn't visible on the reverse. If you want to do that with these pages, you're good to go just by printing on only one side of the page. However, another characteristic of engineer's graph paper is that it is divided into recurring sets of grids. These will make engineering paper in some situations better suited to graphing, statistics or measurement applications.
