Ready to keep your signs straight? These long division worksheets have negative divisors and negative quotients (or both!). Some negative division problems include remainders.

If you've practiced a worksheet or two from the early sets of worksheets, then you'll know the drill here. Long dicision of negative numbers follows the same rules as regular long division, with one extra step... You need to find the sign of the quotient by looking at the signs on the divisor and the divedend in the problem...

- A positive divided by a positive gives a
*positive*quotient - A negative divided by a negative gives a
*positive*quotient - A positive divided by a negative gives a
*negative*quotient - A negative divided by a positive gives a
*negative*quotient

Dividing with multi-digit negative numbers is easy if you've already able to do long division problems. To start, figure out the sign of the answer using the division rules above, then solve the long division problem normally as if both numbers were positive. Finally, assign the correct sign to the quotient and you're done!
