Combinations of addition and subtraction patterns.

Ready for a number pattern workout? These worksheets mix both addition number patterns and subtraction number patterns. The patterns are still fairly simply, but they require the student to discern which operation is required to generate the corresponding number sequence, so the resulting rules for each worksheet will be a mixture of both addition and subtraction answers. This avoids problems where students subtly optimize their problem solving skills and simply assume a number pattern is always going to be one type of rule.
